Das Schauspielhaus begibt sich mit der Produktion „Die Helden auf Helgeland“ als eines der ersten Theater weltweit live in die virtuelle Welt des Second Life. Die Schauspieler werden auf zwei Ebenen spielen: einmal „echt“ auf der Bühne des Malersaal und dazu virtuell, als Avatare im Second Life.
In diesem Blog schreiben die two antennas Milan Matull (Merlin Mapholisto) und Michael Schieben (MikaMaria Mapholisto), die für den virtuellen Teil der Produktion zuständig sind, über ihre Arbeit.

Die virtuelle Spielstätte des Schauspielhauses befindet sich auf der Kulturinsel Hamburg North Beach. Helgeland (176, 130, 31), Hamburg North Beach Helgeland in Second Life wird unterstützt durch Xon Emoto und die Initiative Hamburg Islands von Büro X.
